Terms of Use

Welcome to commn ("we", "us", or "commn"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the commn app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (this "EULA") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You represent that you are at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.

commn is a social platform built for genuine human connection. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time.

You are solely responsible for content you post, including posts, comments, messages, forum threads, and profile information. You retain ownership of your content but grant commn a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and operate on it within the Service.

You agree NOT to post content that:

• is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or threatening;
• sexualizes minors or depicts non-consensual sexual content;
• promotes or depicts violence, self-harm, or terrorism;
• facilitates the sale of illegal goods, drugs, or weapons;
• is spam, fraud, or a scam;
• impersonates another person or infringes their rights;
• is otherwise objectionable or harmful.

We moderate the Service using a combination of automated filtering and human review. You can report any post, comment, or user that you believe violates these Terms, and you can block any user to hide their content from your experience and prevent them from interacting with you. We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may deactivate or delete your account at any time from Settings.

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, commn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (typically zero).

You agree to indemnify and hold commn harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content or your breach of these Terms.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration in New York, New York (no class actions). Governing law: the laws of the State of New York.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
